Technology Experience Café principally differs from standard technology evaluation trials by being a social place where people meet technology and technology meets people in an easy way, but above all at the Café people meet people.
The major motivation for older people (or any other category of potential consumers) to take part in a TEC is as the following:
- To get exposed to the latest developments in the area of science and technology directly related to your daily needs and interests. It is just interesting and useful!
- To provide your feedback and opinion about future products/services based on the new technology to their developers, thus enabling them to better meet the needs and expectations of potential consumers. You fulfill an important social mission!
- To meet your friends and other interesting people in a comfortable and social environment. To share your opinions and learn opinions of others. To discuss the issues important to you with those who have influence. Have a good time!
